حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ تَمِيمًا الدَّارِيَّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا السُّنَّةُ فِي الرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ هُوَ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِمَحْيَاهُ وَمَمَاتِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us from 'Abdullah ibn Mawhab, who said: I heard Tamim al-Dari say: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the sunna concerning a man from the People of the Book who embraces Islam at the hands of a man among the Muslims?' He said: 'He has the greatest claim upon him, in his life and in his death.'
