حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ عُمَيْرَ بْنَ هَانِئٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَائِمَةً بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ أَوْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَامَ مَالِكُ بْنُ يَخَامِرٍ السَّكْسَكِيُّ فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ يَقُولُ وَهُمْ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ وَرَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ هَذَا مَالِكٌ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُعَاذًا يَقُولُ وَهُمْ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ishaq ibn 'Isa said: Yahya ibn Hamza narrated to us from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir: that 'Umayr ibn Hani' narrated to him, who said: I heard Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan upon this pulpit say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: A group of my nation will continue standing firm upon the command of Allah, not harmed by whoever forsakes or opposes them, until the command of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, comes, and they remain dominant over the people.' Then Malik ibn Yakhamir al-Saksaki stood and said: 'O Commander of the Faithful, I heard Mu'adh ibn Jabal say: and they are the people of Syria.' Mu'awiya, raising his voice, said: 'This is Malik, claiming that he heard Mu'adh say: and they are the people of Syria.'
