حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْصَرَفَ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, saying: 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn Ka'b al-Qurazi say: I heard Mu'awiya say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, when he finished the prayer: 'O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate does not benefit him against You.'
