حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ الْقَنَّادِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ رُكُوبِ النِّمَارِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ إِلَّا مُقَطَّعًا.

Isma'il told us, he said: Khalid al-Hadhdha told us, from Maymun al-Qannad, from Abu Qilabah, from Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade riding on leopard skins and wearing gold except in small amounts.
