حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا نَضْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ وَعَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَبُو يَحْيَى النَّرْسِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْخَزَّازُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا نَحَلَ وَالِدٌ وَلَدًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَدَبٍ حَسَنٍ.

'Abdullah narrated to us: Nasr ibn 'Ali al-Jahdami and 'Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad Abu Yahya al-Narsi narrated to us, they said: 'Amir ibn Abi 'Amir al-Khazzaz narrated to us, he said: Ayyub ibn Musa narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A father has not given a child anything better than good upbringing."
