الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym told us, from Amr ibn al-Qari, from his father, from his grandfather Amr ibn al-Qari, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived and had left Sa'd behind, ill, when he set out for Hunayn. When he returned from Ji'ranah performing 'umrah, he went in to visit him while he was suffering and overcome by his illness. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I have wealth, and I will be inherited by a kalalah heir; shall I bequeath all my wealth, or give it in charity? He said: No. He said: Shall I bequeath two-thirds of it? He said: No. He said: Shall I bequeath half of it? He said: No. He said: Shall I bequeath a third of it? He said: Yes, and that is much. He said: O Messenger of Allah, will I die in the land from which I emigrated? He said: I hope that Allah will raise you up, so that through you He may afflict some peoples and benefit others. O Amr ibn al-Qari, if Sa'd dies after me, then here -- bury him toward the road to Medina -- and he pointed with his hand thus.
