قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَنْتُمْ أَهْلُ بَدْوِنَا وَنَحْنُ أَهْلُ حَضَرِكُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ghaylan told us, he said: al-Mufaddal ibn Fadalah told us, he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub told me, from Bukayr ibn Abdullah, from Yazid, the freedman of Salamah ibn al-Akwa', from Salamah ibn al-Akwa', who said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah...'" He said: "You are the people of our desert, and we are the people of your settled towns."
