الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hajjaj and Abu Kamil told us: Layth, meaning Ibn Sa'd, told us: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id told me, from Abu Shurayh al-Adawi, that he said: "My ears heard and my eyes saw when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke and said: 'Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest with his special provision.'" They said: "And what is his special provision, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "A day and a night, and hospitality is three days. Whatever is beyond that is charity given to him." And he said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say something good or remain silent." And Abu Kamil said: "and he should not linger with him until he distresses him."
