حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْ أَحَدَكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ فَلْيَقُلْ { إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ } اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَكَ أَحْتَسِبُ مُصِيبَتِي فَأْجُرْنِي فِيهَا وَأَبْدِلْنِي بِهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ خَلَفَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي أَهْلِي خَيْرًا مِنْهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us, from Thabit, who said: Ibn Umar told me, from his father, from Umm Salama, that Abu Salama told them that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a calamity befalls one of you, let him say: 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. O Allah, with You I reckon my calamity, so reward me for it and replace it for me with something better than it.'" When Abu Salama died, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, replaced him for me in my family with someone better than him.
