قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ يَتَنَخَّمُ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ ثُمَّ دَلَكَهَا بِنَعْلِهِ وَهِيَ فِي رِجْلِهِ.

He said: 'Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar told us, from Sa'id al-Jurayri, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying, then he spat under his foot and rubbed it with his sandal while it was still on his foot.
