قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ قَالَ لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from his father, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when asked about a man who fasts continuously the whole year, say: He neither fasted nor broke his fast.
