الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah and Hajjaj told us — Hajjaj said: Shu'bah told me — who said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Mutarrif, from his father, who said: I came up to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was saying: 'Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you' — the son of Adam says, 'My wealth, my wealth,' yet you have of your wealth nothing but what you ate and thus consumed, or wore and thus wore out, or gave in charity and thus made pass on.
