قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ طَارَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْهِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: Yunus told us: Aban told us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from 'Isa ibn Khuthaym, from Qays ibn Talq, that his father was present with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and a man asked him about praying in a single garment, and he did not say anything to him. When the prayer was established, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, joined together his two garments and prayed in them.
