حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ.

Yazid ibn Harun told us: Hisham informed us, from Hafsa, from Salman ibn Amir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Charity given to the poor is simply charity, and charity given to a relative is two things: charity and a bond of kinship.'
