حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ أَتَذْكُرُ يَوْمَ اسْتَقْبَلْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَحَمَلَنِي وَتَرَكَكَ وَكَانَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسْتَقْبَلُ بِالصِّبْيَانِ إِذَا جَاءَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ.

Abu al-Yaman told us, Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash told us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, who said: 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr said to 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far, "Do you remember the day we went out to meet the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he carried me and left you?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would be met with the children when he came from a journey.
