حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ زَمْعَةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ فَكَانَ يَطَؤُهَا وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا فَوَلَدَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسَوْدَةَ أَمَّا الْمِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ.

Abdur-Razzaq told us, he said: Sufyan informed us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from Ibn az-Zubayr, that Zam'ah had a slave-girl whom he used to have intercourse with, and they suspected her [of impropriety], and she gave birth. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Sawdah: "As for the inheritance, it is his; but as for you, veil yourself from him, O Sawdah, for he is not your brother."
