قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ الصَّلَوَاتِ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ أَهْلُ النِّعْمَةِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ.

He said: Isma'il told us, [he said]: Hajjaj ibn Abi Uthman told us, [he said]: Abu az-Zubayr told us, he said: I heard Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr delivering a sermon on this pulpit, saying: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he gave the taslim at the end of the prayer or the prayers, would say: 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. There is no power and no strength except by Allah, and we worship none but Him — the Possessor of favor, and of grace, and of excellent praise. There is no god but Allah, [being] sincere in devotion to Him, even though the disbelievers dislike it.'"
