حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَلْتَوِي مَا يَجِدُ مَا يَمْلَأُ بِهِ بَطْنَهُ مِنْ الدَّقَلِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated that ʼUmar said: I saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) feeling the pain of hunger and not being able to find enough to fill his stomach of inferior quality dates.
