حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ بْنُ فَائِدٍ عَنْ سَهْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ لِمَ سَمَّى اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَهُ الَّذِي وَفَّى لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ كُلَّمَا أَصْبَحَ وَأَمْسَى { فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ } حَتَّى يَخْتِمَ الْآيَةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Shall I not tell you why Allah the Blessed and Exalted called Ibrahim His intimate friend who fulfilled his covenant? It is because every morning and evening he used to say: Glory be to Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning - until the end of the verse.'
