حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظَهُ وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى أَنْ يَنْتَصِرَ دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ فِي حُورِ الْعِينِ أَيَّتَهُنَّ شَاءَ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ صَالِحَ الثِّيَابِ وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ تَوَاضُعًا لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي حُلَلِ الْإِيمَانِ أَيَّتَهُنَّ شَاءَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever suppresses his anger while he is able to act upon it, Allah the Blessed and Exalted will call him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection and let him choose whichever of the Houris he wishes. And whoever abandons wearing fine clothes while he is able to do so out of humility before Allah the Blessed and Exalted, Allah will call him before all of creation and let him choose whichever garments of faith he wishes.'
