حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ مُطِيعُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُقْتَلَ قُرَشِيٌّ بَعْدَ يَوْمِهِ هَذَا صَبْرًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham Abu al-Hasan told us: Shayban told us, from Firas, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Muti' ibn al-Aswad said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said on the Day of the Conquest: "It is not fitting that any Qurashi be put to death after this day of his in captivity/cold blood."
