حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَبْرَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَذِنَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُتْعَةِ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ هُوَ أَكْبَرُ مِنِّي سِنًّا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَقِينَا فَتَاةً مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ كَأَنَّهَا بَكْرَةٌ عَيْطَاءُ فَعَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهَا أَنْفُسَنَا فَقَالَتْ مَا تَبْذُلَانِ قَالَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا رِدَائِي قَالَ وَكَانَ رِدَاءُ صَاحِبِي أَجْوَدَ مِنْ رِدَائِي وَكُنْتُ أَشَبَّ مِنْهُ قَالَتْ فَجَعَلَتْ تَنْظُرُ إِلَى رِدَاءِ صَاحِبِي ثُمَّ قَالَتْ أَنْتَ وَرِدَاؤُكَ تَكْفِينِي قَالَ فَأَقَمْتُ مَعَهَا ثَلَاثًا قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ النِّسَاءِ الَّتِي تَمَتَّعَ بِهِنَّ شَيْءٌ فَلْيُخَلِّ سَبِيلَهَا قَالَ فَفَارَقْتُهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yunus told us, Layth — that is, Ibn Sa'd — told us, he said: al-Rabi ibn Sabrah told me, from his father, Sabrah al-Juhani, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted us [to practice] temporary marriage. He said: So I set out, I and a man older than me among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and we met a young woman from Banu Amir, like a tall, long-necked young she-camel, and we offered ourselves to her. She said, "What will you offer?" He said: Each of us said, "My cloak." He said: And my companion's cloak was finer than mine, and I was more youthful than him. He said: She kept looking at my companion's cloak, then she said, "You along with your cloak are enough for me." He said: So I stayed with her for three [days]. He said: Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever still has with him any of these women he had contracted temporary marriage with, let him release her." He said: So I parted from her.
