حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ حَدَّثَنِي نَصْرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ بَنِي عُذْرَةَ فَقُبِرَ لَيْلًا فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُقْبَرَ الرَّجُلُ لَيْلًا حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَضْطَرُّوا إِلَى ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, al-Mubarak told us: Nasr ibn Rashid told me, from one who narrated to him, from Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, who said: A man from Banu Udhrah died in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he was buried at night. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade burying a man at night before the funeral prayer had been offered over him, unless people were compelled to do so.
