حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ شِنْظِيرٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمِّرُوا الْآنِيَةَ وَأَوْكِئُوا الْأَسْقِيَةَ وَأَجِيفُوا الْبَابَ وَأَطْفِئُوا الْمَصَابِيحَ عِنْدَ الرُّقَادِ فَإِنَّ الْفُوَيْسِقَةَ رُبَّمَا اجْتَرَّتْ الْفَتِيلَةَ فَأَحْرَقَتْ الْبَيْتَ وَأَكْفِتُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسَاءِ فَإِنَّ لِلْجِنِّ انْتِشَارًا وَخَطْفَةً.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ishaq ibn Isa told us, Hammad told us, from Kathir ibn Shinzir, from Ata, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Cover the vessels, tie up the water-skins, close the door, and extinguish the lamps when you go to sleep, for the little vermin may drag along the wick and burn down the house; and gather in your children in the evening, for the jinn have a time of scattering about and snatching.
