حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَمُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أَكَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَتَزَوَّدْنَا حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا بِهَا الْمَدِينَةَ.

Hasan ibn Musa and Musa ibn Dawud told us, they said: Zuhayr told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: We ate the meat of the sacrificial animals with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we took provisions from it until we reached Medina with it.
