حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَأَبَا بَكْرَةَ تَسَوَّرَ حِصْنَ الطَّائِفِ فِي نَاسٍ فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَا سَمِعْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى أَبٍ غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ.

Sa'd, who was the first to shoot an arrow in the cause of Allah, and Abu Bakrah, who climbed over the fort of Ta'if among some people and came to the Prophet (peace be upon him), both said: We heard the Prophet say: 'Whoever claims a father other than his own, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for him.'
