حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالشُّفْعَةِ مَا لَمْ تُقْسَمْ أَوْ يُوقَفْ حُدُودُهَا.

Azhar ibn al-Qasim told us, Salih ibn Abi al-Akhdar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled that the right of pre-emption applies as long as the property has not been divided or its boundaries set.
