حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي الْعَزْلَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرٍو آنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ لَا.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: We used to practice withdrawal during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: I said to Amr: Did you hear it yourself from Jabir? He said: No.
