و قَالَ لَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ حَدَّثَكَ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ لِيُزْرِعْهَا أَخَاهُ وَلَا يُكْرِيهَا قَالَ عَطَاءٌ نَعَمْ.

And Sulayman ibn Musa said to him, while I was present: Did Jabir narrate to you that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever has land should cultivate it himself, or let his brother cultivate it, and not rent it out? Ata' said: Yes.
