حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ قَالَ عَفَّانُ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ.

Yunus and Affan told us, they said: Hammad told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying in a single garment, wrapped in it - Affan said: he had crossed its two ends over his shoulders.
