حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْجُعَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَنَّ عَلِيًّا خَرَجَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى جَاءَ ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ وَعَلِيٌّ يَبْكِي يَقُولُ تُخَلِّفُنِي مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ فَقَالَ أَوَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا النُّبُوَّةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali went out with the Prophet (peace be upon him) until they reached Thaniyyat al-Wada'. Ali was weeping and said: 'You are leaving me behind with the women and children!' The Prophet said: 'Are you not content to be to me what Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophethood after me?'
