حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا مَتَى كَانَ يَرْمِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ فَضُحًى وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَعِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ.

Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us: I asked Jabir, "When did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, throw the pebbles?" He said, "On the first day, in the forenoon; after that, at the sun's decline."
