حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ قَالَ اقْتَتَلَ غُلَامَانِ غُلَامٌ مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَغُلَامٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ الْمُهَاجِرِيُّ يَا لَلْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ يَا لَلْأَنْصَارِ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالُوا لَا وَاللَّهِ إِلَّا أَنَّ غُلَامَيْنِ كَسَعَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ لِيَنْصُرْ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ ظَالِمًا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا فَإِنْ كَانَ ظَالِمًا فَلْيَنْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ نُصْرَةٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَظْلُومًا فَلْيَنْصُرْهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Adam and Abu al-Nadr told us, they said: Zuhayr told us: Abu al-Zubayr informed us: Jabir told us, who said: Two boys fought - a boy from the Muhajirun and a boy from the Ansar. The Muhajir boy called out: "O Muhajirun (help me)!" and the Ansari boy called out: "O Ansar (help me)!" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out and said: "Is it a call of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic tribalism)?" They said: "No, by Allah, it is only that two boys kicked each other." He said: "There is no harm in that. Let a man help his brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed: if he is an oppressor, let him restrain him, for that is helping him; and if he is oppressed, let him support him."
