حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ هِشَامٍ ح وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ مَرَّتْ بِنَا جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا جِنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ فَزَعٌ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجِنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya told us, from Hisham - and Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf told us: Hisham told us - from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Ubaydullah ibn Miqsam, from Jabir, who said: A funeral bier passed by us, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up for it, and we stood with him. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, it is the funeral of a Jew." He said: "Death is a terror; so when you see a funeral bier, stand up."
