حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ قَوْقَلٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ حَلَّلْتُ الْحَلَالَ وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mu'awiyah told us, from al-A'mash - and Ibn Numayr informed us: al-A'mash informed us - from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: al-Nu'man ibn Qawqal came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think - if I make lawful what is lawful and forbid what is forbidden, and I pray the obligatory prayers" - and Ibn Numayr said in his narration: "and I do not add to that" - "will I enter Paradise?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Yes."
