Sulayman ibn Harb told us: Hammad ibn Zayd told us. Hisham said: I related it to Wahb ibn Kaysan, who said: I bear witness regarding Jabir ibn Abdullah, he related to me, saying: The situation grew intense on the Day of the Trench (al-Khandaq), so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Will no man bring us news of Banu Qurayzah?" So al-Zubayr set out and brought news of them. Then the situation grew intense again - this happened three times - and each time the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Ibn al-Zubayr."
