الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from Jabir, who said: We were with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he asked for water to drink. A man said: "Shall I not give you nabidh (a date drink) to drink?" He said: "Yes." The man went off running and brought a vessel containing nabidh. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Why did you not cover it, even if only by placing a stick across it?" He said: Then he drank.
