The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade selling fruits until they show their quality. He was asked: 'What does showing their quality mean?' He said: 'Until they turn red.' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'If Allah prevents the fruits (from ripening due to blight), with what right would any of you take the wealth of his brother?'
