حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ فِي غَزْوَةِ أَنْمَارٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed one of the afternoon prayers — either Dhuhr or Asr — and a row of men prayed behind him. A man came and prayed to his right. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said the taslim, he turned to the man who had prayed alone and said: 'Repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for one who prays alone behind the row.'
