حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ خَرَصَهَا ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ وَسْقٍ وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ لَمَّا خَيَّرَهُمْ ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ أَخَذُوا الثَّمَرَ وَعَلَيْهِمْ عِشْرُونَ أَلْفَ وَسْقٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) had a she-camel called al-Adba' that could not be outrun. A Bedouin came on a young camel and outran her. This was difficult for the Muslims. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'It is a right upon Allah that nothing in this world is elevated except that He brings it down.'
