حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ ذَهَبْتُ إِلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَا وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا قَالَ كُنَّا إِذَا بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُلَقِّنُنَا هُوَ فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) brought a bowl of tharid (bread soaked in broth) and they ate from it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) would lick his three fingers. Anas said: 'The Prophet ordered us to wipe the bowl clean, saying: You do not know in which part of your food the blessing lies.'
