حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أُسَيْدَ بْنَ حُضَيْرٍ وَعَبَّادَ بْنَ بِشْرٍ كَانَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ظَلْمَاءَ حِنْدِسٍ فَخَرَجَا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَأَضَاءَتْ عَصَا أَحَدِهِمَا فَجَعَلَا يَمْشِيَانِ فِي ضَوْئِهَا فَلَمَّا تَفَرَّقَا أَضَاءَتْ عَصَا الْآخَرِ وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ أَيْضًا فَلَمَّا تَفَرَّقَا أَضَاءَتْ عَصَا ذَا وَعَصَا ذَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Usayd ibn Hudayr and Abbad ibn Bishr were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on an extremely dark night. When they left his presence, the staff of one of them lit up, and they walked by its light. When they parted ways, the staff of the other one also lit up.
