حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مُوسَى بْنَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْمَاءَ لَمْ يُلْقِ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى يُوَارِيَ عَوْرَتَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ.

Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Taymi told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Moses son of Imran, peace be upon him, when he wanted to enter the water, would not remove his garment until he had covered his private parts in the water."
