حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ وَحُسَيْنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَقَالَ أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا السُّدِّيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ فِي حِجْرِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ يَتَامَى فَابْتَاعَ لَهُمْ خَمْرًا فَلَمَّا حُرِّمَتْ الْخَمْرُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَصْنَعُهُ خَلًّا قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَأَهْرَاقَهُ.

Aswad ibn Amir and Husayn told us, they said: Isra'il told us - Husayn said: from al-Suddi, and Aswad said: al-Suddi told us - from Yahya ibn Abbad Abu Hubayra, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: Abu Talha had orphans in his care, and he had bought wine for them. When wine was forbidden, he came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "Shall I make it into vinegar?" He said: "No." He said: So he poured it out.
