حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَاجِشُونُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ زَارَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي دَارِنَا فَحَلَبْنَا لَهُ دَاجِنًا لَنَا وَشُبْنَا لَبَنَهَا مِنْ مَاءِ الدَّارِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ وَمِنْ وَرَاءِ الرَّجُلِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَشَرِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا نَزَعَ الْقَدَحَ عَنْ فِيهِ أَوْ هَمَّ بِنَزْعِهِ قَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَعْطِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَأَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقَدَحَ الْأَعْرَابِيَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْأَيْمَنَ فَالْأَيْمَنَ.

Abu Salamah Yusuf ibn Ya’qub al-Majishun told us, from Ibn Shihab, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, visited us at our house, and we milked for him a domestic goat of ours and mixed its milk with water from the house. On the right of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was a man from the desert-dwellers, and behind that man was ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, and on the left of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was Abu Bakr. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, drank until, when he removed the cup from his mouth, or intended to remove it, ‘Umar said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, give it to Abu Bakr." But the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the cup to the bedouin, then said, "The right, then the right."
