Rawh told us: Sa'id ibn Abi Aruba told us, from Qatada, who said: Anas ibn Malik told us that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Ubayy ibn Ka'b: Allah, Mighty and Sublime, has commanded me to teach you the Qur'an, or to recite the Qur'an to you. He said: Did Allah name me to you? He said: Yes. He said: I have been mentioned before the Lord of the worlds? He said: Yes. So his eyes shed tears.
