حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِصَامٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الشَّرَابِ ثَلَاثًا وَيَقُولُ إِنَّهُ أَدْوَأُ وَأَبْرَأُ وَأَمْرَأُ قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَأَنَا أَتَنَفَّسُ ثَلَاثًا.

Abd al-Samad told us, my father told me, Abu Isam told us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would breathe three times while drinking, saying: It is more wholesome, more health-giving, and more pleasant. Anas said: And I breathe three times when drinking.
