حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقَاطَعُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ.

Rawh told us, Ibn Jurayj and Zakariyya ibn Ishaq told us, from Ibn Shihab — Anas ibn Malik informed me — who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not cut off relations with one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not hate one another, and it is not lawful for a Muslim to shun his brother for more than three nights.
