حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي إِذْ سَمِعَ بُكَاءَ صَبِيٍّ فَتَجَوَّزَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ إِنَّمَا خَفَّفَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الصَّبِيِّ أَنَّ أُمَّهُ كَانَتْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abi Adi told us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: While the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was praying, he heard a child crying, so he shortened his prayer. We thought he had only shortened it because of the child, because his mother was in the prayer.
