حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ زِدْنَا قَالَ لَهُ وَهَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ زِدْنَا فَقَالَ وَهَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ زِدْنَا فَقَالَ وَهَكَذَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ قَطْكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ قَالَ مَا لَنَا وَلَكَ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ كُلَّهُمْ بِحَفْنَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَ عُمَرُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Bahz narrated to us: Abu Hilal narrated to us, who said: Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "My Lord, Mighty and Majestic, has promised me that He would admit from my nation a hundred thousand into Paradise." Abu Bakr said: "O Messenger of Allah, give us more." He said to him: "And thus," gesturing with his hand. He said: "O Prophet of Allah, give us more." He said: "And thus," gesturing with his hand. He said: "O Prophet of Allah, give us more." He said: "And thus." Then Umar said: "Enough for you, Abu Bakr!" He said: "What is it between us and you, O son of al-Khattab?" Umar said to him: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is able to admit all the people into Paradise with a single handful." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Umar has spoken truly."
